Introduction to Tarot

Why did I pick this topic?

I am a practicing pagan, and tarot is one of my biggest interests. Considering that a lot of things like tarot have a lot of reputation as something "scary" or "cursed"; I want to show people that tarot cards aren't like what we see in horror films, and that it's a fun thing to do whether it's getting a reading by a psychic around Halloween, a cool party trick, something as fun and silly as looking at the horoscopes in a magazine, or using it as a way to self-reflect.

Tarot for me, was a way for me to connect to other people through ways I haven't thought of before. I met so many new friends through reading cards for them, or teaching them how to read them. Last year for Halloween, I was reading for all sorts of people with fellow members of the Pagan Club. For someone who used to barely function socially pre-cegep, I believe that tarot was one of many things that helped me connect to other people again. That is why I believe I'm so passionately stubborn enough to do this topic.
